Welcome to Deborah Romeyn's Website.

Deborah Has been performing through the Spring in Winnipeg at a number of special events.

Featured as the guest performer with Spirit's Call Choir, Deborah entertained a full house at Westminster United Church as part of their fundraising concert for Rossbrook House.

She was also honored to be asked to perform at Government House to celebrate a new award established by the Province to honor those who have made a significant contribution to Historical Preservation.

Deborah also performed at The Tree of Life Celebration to honor and celebrate living and non-living organ donors and their families. The audience at Prairie Theater Exchange was both encouraged and inspired by Deborah's music.

Deborah capped off a busy Spring with a performance at Envision, Wolseley's Street Festival. Joining a whole host of artists, performers, poets, and writers, Deborah's evening performance on opening night made the event special indeed!
This year's performance was especially important as it marks the last time that Deborah will perform as a Wolseley resident. She is on her way to Sandy Hook as of August 15, 2011.

In addition to her music, Deborah presented a wellness workshop through Manitoba Teachers Society to the staff at Sargent Park School. Entitled "Feeling Better from the Inside Out" (an energetic and resilient perspective), participants spent a relaxing morning learning about acupressure, Chi Kung and interventions to create a more balanced and resilient work place.

Deborah will continue her massage therapy practice and her wellness workshops from a new location. Please watch for updates and contact information changes. For now, Deborah can be reached by email at judydeb@mts.net.

Thanks to all who request her work on CBC radio and 1250, Golden West Radio. Deborah is continuing to write and create new material to be showcased through 2012.

Deborah has just finished several events celebrating her new release of "Late November".

Her release at Grindstone Point at Lake Winnipeg was a welcome surprise at Grindstone Days which is held every August. Deborah was able to play to an appreciative crown who completely enjoyed the title tune from "Late November" and the upbeat styling of "Shoebox Saturday".

Her Winnipeg release at Prairie Theatre Exchange gathered over 250 friends and fans who were completely entranced with the new music and the chemistry onstage between the musicians. Dan Donahue on guitar, Richard Moody on violin and viola, and Illena Zaramba on backup vocals created a magical evening. The show opened with a multimedia presentation by photographer Dennis Fast, that combined extraordinary images with Deborah's song "Ordinary Days"

Gimli became the next focus as Deborah entertained the Gala Fundraiser for the New Iceland Heritage Museum. From the multimedia presentation of the lake designed by Judy Hill, Deborah performed some of her most well known material, including "Nothing Like The Freedom" which was taken up on the space shuttle.

Deborah also hosted a CD Launch of "Late November at Gimli's beautiful Johnson Hall. Again friends and fans gathered to hear Deborah and Dan Donahue perform the beautiful and striking material from the new release.
